Oil spill in Tallinn port under control

TALLINN (BNS) - An oil slick containing an estimated 2 tons of diesel fuel that came from a Russian tanker in the port of Miiduranna Nov. 29, was reported fully under control by the same evening.The polluted area was immediately cordoned off with pollution containment floaters and a pollution fighting ship was called in, Enn Vann, director general of the oil terminal Milstrand, told BNS.
