VILNIUS (BNS) - Lithuanian lawmakers, stressing a need to commence closer cooperation with their Latvian colleagues, founded a group of Lithuanian-Latvian MPs designed to promote parliamentary relations between the two Baltic countries.At a plenary session of the Lithuanian Parliament, Eurosceptic MP Rimantas Smetona of the National Democratic Union for Independent Lithuania was approved as chairman of the group.Smetona said that the Baltic Assembly is a trilateral organization, while the Lithuania and Latvia commission will deal with many bilateral issues."A parliamentary group is not able...
