Keeping Lithuania healthy

VILNIUS - What do Lithuanians eat? Is it healthy? What kind of food would be more nutritional? The Nutrition Center in Lithuania recently shed some light on these time-honored questions. Kamelija Kadziauskiene, the center's director, seems to know everything about food. She says the fact that there are much fewer overweight people on the streets of Lithuanian towns than in the United States, for example, does not mean the Baltic country's inhabitants get the ideal amount of nutrition in their diets.Lithuanians enjoy eating. Most of them remain faithful to their traditional national cuisine....
