RIGA (BNS) - With one week to go, just about half of the required 10 percent of voters have signed a petition that would force a public referendum on citizenship law amendments.Jazeps Bernans, who is running the signature campaign for the political party For Fatherland and Freedom/LNNK's (FF/LNNK), said Aug. 10 about 62,000 signatures, including 22,000 in Riga, have been collected so far.
