Helping police combat juvenile crime

TALLINN - Police plan to use alternative measures to fight juvenile crime in Estonia, a committee of parliamentarians from the Nordic countries learned Aug. 4. Members of the Nordic Council Area Adjacent Committee were given a talk on crime, particularly juvenile crime, during a visit to Estonia. The committee had also been discussing environmental protection, expansion of the European Union, and the political and economic situation of the Nordic countries and its neighboring states.
