An airport worthy of an EU contender

TALLINN - The first step to getting rid of the eyesore that is Tallinn's airport has been taken. On Aug. 15, the last passengers will fly into Tallinn's old terminal. The next day, all passengers will be directed to the temporary terminal that has been built next door, while the old terminal undergoes a 14 month modernization. The temporary terminal is only a few steps away from the old terminal but is much smaller. According to Tallinn Airport Chief Executive Officer Eduard Tuur, the new airport will have three times less space than the old one, but will be serving just as many passengers....
