RIGA - Bowing to demands from the Central Election Commission (CEC), the National Harmony Party (TSP) pulled three candidates of its 7th Saeima election list last week because of their communist past.Tatyana Zhdonka, Sergejs Dimanis and Galina Fyodorova were all dropped from the list because they were associated with the communist party after Jan. 13, 1991, the day when Soviet tanks terrorized Riga and tried to suppress the burgeoning Latvian independence movement.
