More than 15,000 signatures collected nationwide

RIGA (BNS) - As many as 11,300 signatures have been collected in the Latvian capital of Riga and another 4,000 nationwide during the first two weeks of the campaign to send citizenship law amendments to a public referendum, according to the Central Election Commission (CEC).To propose the referendum, at least 133,435 signatures - 10 percent of Latvia's registered voters - must be collected.
