Baltic leaders in key talks on energy plans

Baltic leaders will hold key talks in Riga on Nov. 8 on energy and transport infrastructure plans.

Prime Minister's Valdis Dombrovskis of Latvia, Andrus Ansip of Estonia, and Algirdas Butkevičius of Lithuania will discuss the EU single market, climate and cooperation in the area of culture and education.

The Baltic Council of Ministers (BCM) is an institution for intergovernmental cooperation between Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, established in 1994. The BCM is responsible for ensuring continuous cooperation at the countries’ executive level. BCM members last met on Sept. 2012 in Vilnius.
