Tallinn skyline highlights ambassador's homecoming

TALLINN - The traditional Estonian welcome for tourists of rain and wind did not deter new U.S. Ambassador to Estonia Melissa Wells. A crowd of well-wishers were on hand to greet Wells, who arrived Oct. 30, on a boat from Stockholm. Wells greeted the crowd with a huge smile and a statement that she read in Estonian. In it, she said that she purposely chose to arrive by boat instead of by plane.
