Soldiers face disciplinary action over pay dispute

TALLINN - Six Estonian peace-keepers face criminal investigation and possible court action after a rebellion over pay broke out within the contingent. The dispute erupted Oct. 11 when some BaltBat battalion soldiers threatened to drop out of a mission to Bosnia if their wages were not increased. The soldiers, most of them professional, pointed to the higher wages of their Latvian and Lithuanian counterparts.
