Russian crisis scares Euroskeptics

VILNIUS (BNS) - The Russian crisis has many Lithuanian Euroskeptics thinking again, according to the results of a recent sociological poll.If a referendum were staged on Lithuania joining the European Union, 75 percent of respondents would have voiced their approval. This is 5 percent more than in September, at the beginning of the Russian crisis.The poll, which was carried out by the public opinion and market research center Vilmorus, indicates that 25 percent of respondents would have voted against membership of the EU in October.
