VILNIUS - Some say he could win the Conservative Party nomination for president in the next elections. Many say he could probably win.Indeed, Vilnius Mayor Rolandas Paksas, revered for his renovation of Vilnius' Old Town, is one of the most popular politicians in Lithuania these days; a recent poll put him third nationwide behind President Valdas Adamkus and Center Party leader Romualdas Ozolas.But Paksas is apparently not satisfied, and his latest proposal appears destined to etch him into the Vilnius history books forever.
