Siimann returns to work, sinks resignation rumors

TALLINN - Prime Minister Mart Siimann returned to work Oct. 12 after a week in which his resignation was one of the main topics of discussion in the Estonian press. Siimann extended his leave for an extra week at the recommendation of his doctor when it was revealed he was suffering from high blood pressure and the effects of too much work. But while the prime minister was away, the cats came out to play.
