RIGA - Progress has also been made recently in the battle against another environmental sore point located near the Latvian border - the Ignalina nuclear power plant.When green activists staged their hunger strike outside of the Lithuanian Embassy, they were also protesting the continued operation of this plant, whose two reactors follow the same design used at Chernobyl.
