Locals perceive high corruption in Latvia

RIGA - Residents of Latvia are much more likely to perceive corruption in their country than residents of most other nations in the world, including those in Turkey and Zimbabwe.That is the finding of a study released Sept. 22 by anti-corruption watchdog Transparency International. The international organization ranked 85 nations according to the level of corruption felt by local business people, risk analysts and the general public.
