Adamkus decorates saviors of Jews

VILNIUS (BNS) - Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus presented Life Saver Crosses on Sept 17, to fellow countrymen who had rescued Jews from their Nazi persecutors during WWII.Thirty-one people were decorated by presidential decree, 21 of whom were singled out posthumously.
