Siimann re-elected chairman of Coalition Party

TALLINN - Prime Minister Mart Siimann, re-elected chairman of the Coalition Party at its annual congress Sept. 20, reinforced the need for the party to enter the next elections in a coalition. Speaking at the congress the prime minister warned that the party could only win the March 1999 elections in an alliance. His comments come after talk of struggles within the party as to whether it should enter the next elections on its own as the Coalition Party or in the KMU coalition as it is at present.
