RIGA - After five soldiers beat to death a father of two, Defense Minister Talavs Jundzis is facing a vote of no confidence as well as calls for his resignation.On the night of Aug. 29, the soldiers, all servicemen at an infantry battalion stationed in the eastern town of Aluksne, were on leave of absence. At around 11 p.m., the servicemen, who were drunk by that time, started an argument with Vairis Lacitis, who was walking in their direction.
