Wherever he is, from Chechnya to Siberia, Lithuanian photographer Mindaugas Kulbis is able to find art in tragedy, as Rokas M. Tracevskis reports.A memorial stone to the first Chechen president, Djokhar Dudayev, was unveiled in the square named for him in Vilnius on Sept. 6, the seventh anniversary of Chechnya's independence. The name of Dudayev reminds Lithuanian photographer Mindaugas Kulbis of the Russian and Chechen war. Tears appear in his eyes when he speaks about Chechen orphans.
