NO RUSH TO CLOSE IGNALINA: Someday, the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant will stop working, but since it is not considered a safety threat, Lithuania should be in no rush to dismantle it. Such was the conclusion of Jurgis Vilemas, chairman of the International Consultation Committee for Lithuania's Nuclear Safety.
