Ailing Lileikis keeps out of court again

VILNIUS - The trial of Aleksandras Lileikis, accused of Jewish genocide during the German occupation of Lithuania, was postponed again because of Lileikis' poor health.In the gloomy confines of the former KGB headquarters in Vilnius, the court gathered twice - on Sept. 9 and 10, - only to learn from Lileikis' lawyer Algirdas Matuiza that the defendant is seriously ill and has been hospitalized in Vilnius University Hospital since Sept. 2.
