Berankis through to quarters

SAN JOSE, USA– Lithuanian Richard Berankis has been made to fight for his place in the quarter finals of the SAP OPEN. Playing against relative unknown world no. 146 Dustin Young, Berankis also had to overcome a vocal crowd who were verbally showing their support for one of the few remaining Americans in the draw. However Berankis refused to let the crowd to become a distraction when it mattered, breaking Young in the third set to win 6-4 5-7 7-5. Berankis found the going a little tougher than in his first round game against tour journey...
