ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands – Latvian Ernests Gulbis has pulled out of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament citing a high temperature. After seeing his world ranking go to 21 earlier this week Gulbis was set to take on local hope Thiemmo de Baker in the opening round Gulbis was a late withdrawal as he failed to overcome a high temperature.
