Environmentalists offer prayer for Baltic Sea

RIGA - All along the Latvian coast, and in Germany, Lithuania and Sweden, people gathered on the beach Sept. 6 and said a prayer for the Baltic Sea."We can do many practical things to help the sea, but this is a time to do something symbolic," said Girts Strazdins, vice president of the Environmental Protection Agency.
