SYDNEY, Australia – Latvian Ernests Gulbis has seen out Russian Igor Andreev to advance to the quarter finals of the Medibank International in Sydney. Gulbis took a little over 2:20 and three sets (2-6 6-4-6-3) to knock off Andreev, the first time Gulbis has achieved the feat in three meetings.
