Two Russian citizens go on hunger strike

TALLINN (BNS) - Russian citizen Eduard Shaumyan has joined Russian activist Oleg Morozov on a hunger strike. Morozov began his hunger strike after being put in detention following a court ruling.Morozov's hunger strike is to protest against the administrative court sentence of detention he was issued for violating the law on aliens. Earlier, the citizenship and migration department had ordered Morozov to either get a residence permit or to leave the country.Morozov declared that he was born and brought up in Estonia and does not therefore need a residence permit.Shaumyan's hunger strike is ...
