Crime on the rise in Tallinn

TALLINN - The crime rate in Tallinn has increased by 8 percent over the past year, according to police chief Helmut Paabo. Although crime was down in the city center partly due to new surveillance cameras, it has skyrocketed in other parts of the city due to an understaffed police force and an increase in drug use. "People coming to Tallin, don't see a lot of policemen on the street," said Paabo.
