Stockholm ferry receives bomb threat

RIGA - A Russian-operated ferry bound for Stockholm was forced to return to Riga just three hours out of port due to a bomb threat the night of Aug. 14.Police received a call on the police emergency line from a man claiming there was an explosive on the ferry Russ that would be detonated just before the vessel reached its destination on the morning of Aug. 15.The man, who spoke Russian without an accent, did not identify himself and offered no other information, according to Interior Ministry spokeswoman, Vita Norina.The Friday night trip is the ferry's most popular run, especially in Augus...
