Banker may lose job over politics

TALLINN (BNS) - Hansa-pank's regional manager in the island of Saaremaa may lose his job because of his active involvement in politics.Raul Parusk, director of Hansapank's retail banking division, told the daily Eesti Paevaleht that manager Meelis Polda has done a good job, but that expressing one's opinion about one or another client and active participation in politics are not in agreement with Hansapank policies.In an interview earlier this month Polda admitted to having recently joined the Center Party and that the party had offered him the chance to run in the fall for mayor of Kuressa...
