VILNIUS (BNS) – Alma Adamkiene, the Lithuanian president's wife, will be hobbled for the next few weeks thanks to a foot injury suffered during a June visit to the United States.The first lady's right foot was put in plaster two weeks ago and the cast is to be removed only in the middle of August. During that period, Adamkiene will be unable to attend her husband's top level meetings in Lithuania or abroad, the Protocol Department of the President's Office said.
