Latvian leftists insist on joint election list

RIGA (BNS) – The National Harmony Party, the Latvian Socialist Party and the Equality of Rights Movement will have a joint list of candidates for general elections even if the Justice Ministry declines to register their association. The three organizations have formed an association called For Human Rights in United Latvia, but the Justice Ministry refused to register it because the move was not confirmed by the top decision making institutions of all the parties.
