Bomb explodes in Tallinn

TALLINN – A bomb exploded in Tallinn's Old Town last week, seriously injuring one man.Josiff Bigus, 33, had his foot amputated July 21 after a bomb exploded near him. The explosion occurred near the wall of the Kalev swimming hall on Aia Street at approximately 1:45 p.m.Repairs were being done near the swimming hall and Bigus was one of the construction workers. According to police spokesman Mart Soonik, the victim was walking along the sidewalk and kicked at a box laying on the ground.
