Streets to be closed as blondes parade through Riga
Together with the "Latvian Blonde Association" application to hold a parade and various events, on May 31, from 7:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. 11. Novembra Krastmala from the Polish Gate to the Bishops Gate will be closed.
This is the first time the group of blondes have come together to organize an event. This unique event entitled GO BLONDE will help raise money for charities to support children's safety, and playgrounds for disabled children in Riga and throughout Latvia.
This year the parade organizers are planning on approximately 2000 blondes to participate, along with their fans. Events of the day will end with a "Princess Ball". Events also include sporting festivities, fashion shows, blonde golf tournament and a blonde ball.
