TALLINN(BNS) - The Estonian Independent Seamen's Union has failed to reach an accord with shippers Hansatee on the working hours of ship crews and will wait for an answer to its proposals for one more week, the leader of the union said."If Hansatee's answer is negative, it means the start of a collective labor dispute," leader of EMSA Juri Lember said."The position of our lawyers was that the next step should be to try and solve the issue through the state mediator and then in the labor dispute commission, although I can read from the law that one could go to court at once," Lember said.The...
