Fly LAL and Vilnius airport continue business

Fly LAL will continue servicing Vilnius airport

VILNIUS- Fly LAL Lithuanian airline will continue to do business with Vilnius airport afterpreviously stating they would discontinue their relationship in 2009.

Vilniusairport reported that as of January 1, 2009, cooperation would cease with FlyLAL due to unpaid airport service fees.

However the two companies came to an agreement right before the New Year tocontinue working together despite the airline not having paid fees since August.

According to Vilniusairport, Fly LAL had collected airport taxes from their passengers andneglecting to turn over the fees to the airport.

Fly LAL is reported to owe the airport approximately5.2 million euro.
