Festival, olympics brighten up Vilnius

VILNIUS – Young and old people, all decked out in the national costumes of different Lithuanian regions, crowded the streets of Vilnius last weekend. Their songs emanated from Sereikiskes Park, where the hungry and thirsty could enjoy free home-brewed beer and smoked pig's trotter.Vilnius was occupied by the World Lithuanian Song Festival, held from July 2 to 6.
