VILNIUS (BNS) - The Lithuanian Migration Department has refused to make public its ruling on the Latvian environmentalists who were deported last week for crashing the grand opening of the Butinge oil terminal.Border police detained and deported four activists from the Latvian Environmental Protection Club who had chained themselves to the buoy of the oil terminal and delayed the official opening.Border police said they would suggest banning the activists from entering Lithu-ania for five years, but that decision ultimately rests with the migration department.Almantas Gavenas, the departmen...
