Vilnius: stop 'politicizing' of Butinge

VILNIUS (BNS) - The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry has urged Latvia to refrain from politicizing the problem of pollution in the Baltic Sea and reminded Riga that the Butinge oil terminal has been judged safe by both the Council of Baltic Sea States' environmental group and the Helsinki Committee."These issues should be discussed by ecology experts only," said Vygaudas Usackas, Lithuania's vice minister of foreign affairs.
