VILNIUS - Although Lithuanians still generally tend to regard America as a mighty pal, a recent poll indicates a noticeable portion of the population has begun to sour on the superpower.A huge part of the 20th century has not been kind to Lithuania. Russians, Germans and even the Poles have taken turns gobbling up the small country. America, on the other hand, has always been seen as one of the safe havens while Lithuania's occupiers were at large. Of course, as with any relationship, this one is not completely perfect.
