DIPLOMATIC INCIDENT: The Polish Embassy to Lithuania has rejected reports about an incident involving Polish diplomats and the Lithuanian media and police. On Nov. 12, Vilnius traffic police pulled up a speeding car driven by the Polish ambassador to Latvia, Jaroslaw Bratkiewicz. Reporters of television station TV3 filming the incident said that police suspected that the diplomat had been drinking but were unable to test him as he pleaded diplomatic immunity.
