VILNIUS – The Lithuanian Parliament voted on June 29 to send up to 35 soldiers to Kosovo to take part in international peacekeeping operations.The number may seem a mere drop in the bucket when compared to the tens of thousands of NATO soldiers in the region, or even the 3,000-plus Russians. But leaders here say Lithuania's contribution should not be mistaken for a simple symbolic overture.
