FLEET IN KLAIPEDA: A squadron of NATO mine-sweepers entered the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda Nov. 30. The fleet which includes seven vessels from the Netherlands, Great Britain, Norway, Germany, Belgium and Denmark is staffed by 53 officers and 271 crew. The squadron is a unit of NATO's quick-reaction force which has participated in a number of peacekeeping operations and takes part in about a dozen NATO and national exercises every year.
