Every fifth Latvian OK with homosexuality

RIGA (BNS) - Only every fifth resident of Latvia regards homosexuality as a regular phenomenon, according to the results of the public opinion poll conducted by the SKDS company in October.The number of homophobes has increased in Latvia over a year. In the poll last December, 29 percent of the respondents said gay and lesbian relations were normal, but this October only 24.9 percent said it was acceptable.Last year homosexual relations were found abnormal by 63 percent of those questioned as compared to 67.2 percent this year.The number of people without a definite opinion in the matter ha...
