Gang smuggles hash into Finland

TALLINN/TAMPERE (BNS) - The Finnish police in Tampere have discovered an Estonian drug gang who are suspected of smuggling 250 kilograms of hashish into Finland.According to the police, the leader of the gang is an Estonian residing in the small Finnish town of Loimaa. The police have questioned six persons in connection with the case, and two of them have been arrested, the Finnish STT news agency reported on Nov. 23.The police suspect that besides hashish, the gang has also smuggled into Finland 5 kilograms of amphetamine and 3,000 ecstasy pills.
