Cook serenades Estonia on recent visit

TALLINN - Relations between Estonia and the United Kingdom have been strengthened after a visit to Tallinn by British Foreign Minister Robin Cook. Cook was in town for an official visit July 28, when he met President Lennart Meri, Prime Minister Mart Laar and Foreign Minister Toomas Ilves. Cook also officially opened the new British Embassy in Tallinn, which has now moved to Wismari Street. The British Embassy was one example of future cooperation between the two countries, said Cook, and was intended as a gateway so the two could have access to each other's economy and culture.
