Tina Turner fans congest Latvian-Estonian border

TALLINN/RIGA (BNS) - People on their way to pop singer Tina Turner's show in Tallinn clogged the Latvian-Estonian border for hours the afternoon of the concert, Aug. 12.

In Valka 55 cars and in Ainazi 60 cars and 16 buses waited to cross into Estonia at 2 p.m. Saturday morning there were queues only in the Ainazi border checkpoint, but lines built up also in Valka in the afternoon, the Latvian border guard informed BNS.

Chief organizer of the show Lauri Laubre said that in addition to the Estonian public, more than 10,000 fans arrived for the concert from Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Finland and elsewhere.
