A fleeting news story a few weeks ago revealed that the U.S. Justice Depart-ment's Office of Special Investigations was once again starting Nazi war crime proceedings against John Demjanjuk. The Office of Special Investigations, or OSI, is the famous hunter of Ukrainian and Baltic Nazi war criminals. Demjanjuk is the Ukrainian-American who was charged by individuals who worked for the OSI in the late '70s as being someone called "Ivan the Terrible," an especially brutal camp guard - purportedly real, perhaps concocted, possibly a composite - at the Treblinka death camp during World War II.U...
