VILNIUS - Pilies Street, the central street of Vilnius' Old Town, is not only a place of promenades. The street is also a constant fair for various souvenirs. Sellers stay in this street during the summer heat and the winter snow.Hand-made, knitted, warm woolen clothes, not amber beads or wooden sculptures, are the most popular among buyers along Pilies Street in the winter time.Children's gloves and socks cost from 8 litas ($2) to 10 litas. Knitted caps with ear coverings run from 25 litas to 35 litas, gloves for adults between 20 litas and 27 litas, socks for adults, 25 litas, knee-socks...
