Vilnius to have the world's biggest Christmas tree

VILNIUS - The Vilnius TV tower will be turned into a magnificent Christmas tree on Dec. 25. The tower is 326.47 meters high.The project is called "The light of the millennium." Its organizers are the Balloonists Center, the Vilnius Roman Catholic Archbishop, the Lithuanian TV and Radio Center, and Vilnius municipality. The project will cost 500,000 litas ($125,000).Projectors will give the Christmas tree a star which will be seen by the entire city of Vilnius.
